Lower Blood Pressure with Diovan at a great price

Monday, August 24th, 2009

Diovan, or Valsartan, is an angiotension receptor blocker used in many heart conditions. Diovan is used for treatment of high blood pressure, congestive heart failure and is used after a heart attack. A study done in 2007 by the Journal of Clinical Investigation found that Diovan may be of eventual help to Alzheimer’s patients, though this is considered highly experimental at this time. If your blood pressure is 140/90 mm Hg or higher, Diovan may help. It lowers your blood pressure, and has helped millions of patients for the past decade.

Here’s how it works. Diovan lowers high blood pressure by blocking a chemical called angiotensin II, which causes blood vessels to narrow, restricting blood flow. Diovan relaxes and widens your blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily, reducing your blood pressure and stress on your heart. Helping you to manage your blood pressure and get it to a healthier level.

The average retail price for thirty 160 MG capsules of Diovan is $90.63, but your Savings Drug Card can help you get it at $72.39. That is a savings nearly $20 at no additional cost to you! Our Initial Press Release Announcing Our Discount Drug Card

Tuesday, July 21st, 2009

The Collaboration for a New Century (The Collaboration)

announced today the availability of a major new discount prescription drug card in Arizona.  The program called http://www.SavingsDrugCard.com provides a free drug card that will help all Arizonans lower their prescription drug costs.  Interested individuals simply download this card by visiting http://www.SavingsDrugCard.com and can immediately start saving up to 75% at most major pharmacies located in Arizona including: Costco, CVS, K-Mart, Osco, Safeway, Target, Walgreens, and Wal-Mart.

The card is being made possible through a partnership between The Collaboration and United Networks of America, which is one of the largest providers of managed healthcare products and services in the United States with over 240,000 participating providers serving more than 40 million members.

The Collaboration is a Valley-based non-profit organization that rallies civic, business, non-profit agencies and other stakeholders around significant quality-of-life issues.  The Collaboration co-founder Jerry Colangelo said, “I am proud to personally endorse savingsdrugcard.com because it is in line with The Collaboration’s vision to see Arizona’s standard of living raised for ALL Arizonans.  For so many, prescriptions drugs are out of reach, forcing families to make difficult sacrifices everyday.  I am confident that this card will help provide some relief.”

Today in Arizona there is a desperate need to make prescriptions more readily available for the uninsured and the underinsured.  When it comes to prescription drugs, Arizonans without health insurance are disadvantaged twice over.  First, they lack the insurance coverage to pay for the drugs.  As a result, adults without insurance are half as likely to get the benefits of prescription drugs as insured adults, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation.  Second, they pay higher prices than anyone else.  With 19.6 percent of Arizonans lacking health insurance, this issue is significant as the number of uninsured continue to grow.  The Kaiser Foundation also reported that in 2007, Arizonans spend over $3 billion on prescription drugs annually, with the average cost of each prescription at $54.07.  As the numbers of uninsured remain high and the cost of prescription drugs continues to grow, savingdrugcard.com is a great way to help provide relief at no cost to the user.
